Borrower Stories – Leticia
Leticia is an intake specialist for Jewish Family Services (JFS) and has been with JFS for five years. Leticia approached HFLSD for an Education Loan as she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management at San Diego Mesa College. With her degree, she wants to secure a job as a data analyst and would like to stay within the nonprofit sector. She will use her loan to pay for tuition, books and a printer, as well as any school supplies that she may need. Leticia will be the first in her family to graduate college. She has a 12 year old and a 13 year old and said that she is pursuing higher education for herself as well as to serve as a positive role model for her children. In Leticia’s words, “Thank you so much to you and your team! You are helping me achieve my educational goals!”
